A short presentation of yourself:
My research interest are Environmental sciences, particularly how to successfully integrate different scientific fields and methodological approaches for holistic assessment of human impacts on environment and sustainable management of protected areas. Also, I am interested in environmental education for sustainability on all levels. The careful and skilful use of ecological, economic, social, and managerial principles in managing ecosystems to produce, restore, or sustain ecosystem integrity and living conditions over the long term is one of the grand challenges for humankind. I teach students Nature Conservation course at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences in Nova Gorica and several courses of biological and environmental education at the Faculty of Education University of Ljubljana, Slovenia..
